Fossils
Fossils are the remain of animals and plants that died long ago. Their remains have been replaced by minerals and the result is called a fossil.
Fossil occur in rock.
Many fossils are of plant and animals that used to live in the sea. Fossils are a great record of living things from a long time ago.
Most of the time, the fossil is made of rock. As the soil falls away, the fossil weathers out and rolls away, often onto a beach or a creak in a bed.
Fossils can be a shell, insects, bird, fish, flower and a dinosaur track.
Where do you find fossils?
You can sometimes find them in sandy and mudddy places. Sometimes we can discover the fossil without digging for a long time.
Paleontologists study and discover fossils.

Tigers
Tigers burning bright,
in the forests of the night.
Hunting and hunting for their prey,
dashing left and right,
as fast as lightning.
They're not sharing,
not caring,
not minding who they kill.
Just climbing up a tree,
greedily eat!
The king of the jungle,
is intimidating the rest of the area.
Remembering the day is sad and sorrowful.
Every second of the war someone died scattered on the ground.
Machineguns zipzapping was horrorific for the ANZACs.
Every year we celebrate ANZAC Day be wearing poppies.
Medicines and doctors were healing the injured soldiers.
Baking ANZAC biscuits is a treat.
Right above the trenches there was one hard soldier that would shoot the enemy.
ANZAC Day is men that was on April 25.
Nearly 12,000 people died in Gillipoli.
Ceremonies are in Australia and New Zealand.
Every man that was older than 13 was forced to fight in the war.
